In April of 2019, I interviewed Dan Lok about how he grew his YouTube channel. We took what we learned and hit YouTube HARD by releasing new videos every single day.
By November of 2019, we were able to DOUBLE our subscribers but are daily view count was not matching the growth of the channel.
So I decided to pull the plug...
Blitzing YouTube with Free daily content to dominate social media, does not work.
Well... at least it didn't work for us.
Just like most platforms, it has become a PAY to PLAY environment. It was costing too much time and resources from my team to keep producing content every single day.
Until I looked at the numbers inside of Google Ads (YouTube’s Advertising platform).
The cheapest audiences to target was YouTube subscribers and viewers of my channel. It was literally 40% cheaper than uploading a hot email list!
After I saw these numbers, I plugged YouTube right back!
But for 2020, I’m completely changing my YouTube strategy.
